Rajarajeshwara Temple Travel Guide
History, Timings, Route & Tips
The Rajarajeshwara Temple in Taliparamba, Kannur district, is one of the most powerful and historically revered Lord Shiva temples in Kerala. Counted among the 108 ancient Shiva temples, it was originally constructed by the Mushika (Kolathiri) kings, said to be consecrated by Lord Parashurama himself, and later renovated with rich Chola influence — giving it a majestic blend of myth, history, and architecture.
